What Clients Bring In:
DESIRE THAT DISAPPEARED
You used to want it and now you don't, and you can't point to why. Desire isn't a switch that broke. It responds to context, and context can change.
WANTING DIFFERENT THINGS
Sex means closeness to one partner and release or reassurance to the other. The difference isn't the problem. The meaning each of you makes of it - guilt on one end, abandonment on the other - is.
NEVER HAVING MUCH TO BEGIN WITH
Some people were told low desire is a defect. It isn't. What matters is whether it's a problem for you - and whether the way you're having sex is worth wanting.
ORGASM THAT WON'T ARRIVE
Close but never there, or only one specific way. Common, learnable, and almost never discussed plainly. We talk about it plainly.

AASECT-Certified Sex Therapist in NH
Sex therapy that takes the sex as seriously as everything around it. I’m a licensed clinical social worker and an AASECT-certified sex therapist, working online with individuals and couples throughout New Hampshire. Desire that faded or never matched, pain, difficulty with orgasm, erections, and the shame that tends to travel with all of it.
There are very few certified sex therapists practicing in New Hampshire, which means most people here either wait months or never get to one at all. The problem doesn’t wait. Desire that goes quiet for a year tends to become a story about the relationship, and then a story about you. I’d rather reach it before that.
What I treat: low or mismatched desire, desire that disappeared after a baby or a diagnosis, pain with sex, difficulty reaching orgasm, erectile difficulties and performance anxiety, sexual shame carried in from family or religion, and sexual behavior that feels out of your control. Licensed in New Hampshire as an LICSW (#5847). No waitlist.
I hold an MA in Trauma and Crisis Studies from Tel Aviv University, an MSW from Yeshiva University, and earned certification in sex therapy through the Modern Sex Therapy Institutes.
I live in Brooklyn with my husband and our dog, Bernie. When I’m not in session, I write and produce music.

How Sex Therapy Works
Is it strange to do sex therapy over video?
Most clients find it easier. You’re in your own space, nobody sees you walk into an office, and in a small state that privacy matters. Nothing physical happens in sex therapy – it’s talk therapy with a specialist.
Is low desire a hormone problem?
Sometimes there’s a medical contributor, and I’ll suggest a rule-out when it makes sense. More often desire tracks stress, resentment, the kind of sex being had, and old beliefs about what wanting means. Those are treatable.
Is there a wait?
No. I have current openings, including evenings Mondays and Thursdays.
Is This For Me?
My partner has the problem, not me.
Worth a conversation. Desire problems almost always live between two people, even when one of them carries the symptom. You can start alone or together.
I'm embarrassed to talk about this.
Almost everyone is at first. It fades faster than you’d think, mostly because I’m not embarrassed. You’ll hear me say things plainly, and that tends to make it easier for you to as well.
Do you take insurance?
No – $200 per session, out-of-network, with a monthly superbill for reimbursement. Check your benefits in about a minute.
